      Bassist, producer, and composer Marcus Miller played with Miles from April 1981 to February 1983. He also wrote and co-produced most of the music on Tutu, Siesta, and Amandla. In this fragment he talks about Miles's humanity and sensitivity, and about how Miles operated as a band leader.
